Beyond.com, the premier Career Network focused on helping people grow and succeed professionally, today announced the appointment of Joe Weinlick as Vice President of Marketing. With more than 20 years of business and consumer marketing experience, Mr. Weinlick has developed campaigns for major organizations including Microsoft, Comcast, IKEA, Independence Blue Cross and Siemens. In this role, Mr. Weinlick will be responsible for Beyond.com’s marketing and communications efforts for the brand across all markets.

Formerly Vice President of Unified Marketing at Godfrey Advertising, the sixth largest B2B agency in the U.S. in 2011 according to BtoB magazine, Mr. Weinlick implemented a new agency-wide process focused on using customer insight to develop cohesive marketing and advertising campaigns. Mr. Weinlick has been a leading proponent of the use of traditional and emerging technology to cultivate powerful brand relationships, and is a frequent speaker on this topic.
Additionally, Mr. Weinlick founded and managed Iliad Interactive, a full service interactive firm that was sold to Brownstein Group. At Brownstein, he served as the Chief Brand Strategist and Senior Vice President for six years, during which time he led development of brand research and strategy for a diverse array of organizations including the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, George Weston/Bimbo Bakeries, the University of Pennsylvania and Sungard.
Other roles held by Mr. Weinlick include Vice President, Chief Creative and Marketing Officer at Earle Palmer Brown Digital and Direct, and Director of Marketing of Maritz McGettigan. Mr. Weinlick holds a Bachelors degree in English from University of Pennsylvania.
